Bedtime Bible Story

Every night we have a bedtime routine that includes a "horsie" story about Hud and Han and their adventures on their horses, Thunder and Lightning. Then we have a story abobut Jesus. Tonight, Russ was telling the story of the Good Samaritan. He explained that this man had been hurt by bad people and they had taken all of his things and left him on the side of the road. He started describing a "man who was supposed to be really close to God, who saw the hurt man and did not stop to help him." At this point, Hud interupted Russ to inform him that this "man was a priest in the Bible story book, Dad." Then he went on to share that he would go help the man and take him to the doctor. They never cease to amaze us!
