Hud's New Job at Church

On the way to church yesterday, Hud said to Russ and I, "I've got a new job at church!!"
Me: "Cool, Hud. What is it?"
Hud: "Well, I find the new people and visitors and take them up the stairs to show them where their room is at Super Church."
Me: "That's great, Hud! Who asked you to do that job?"
Hud: "It's just something I think Jesus wants me to do."

Han got some new shoes today for kindergarten. They have shoelaces instead of velcro so she has been highly motivated to learn to tie her shoes so she can wear them to school. She's doing a great job and would be successful every time if it, "weren't for her stubbuhn shoelaces!"

Hud was telling Han today that he played on her baseball team one time but, "it just wasn't his cup of ball."

Josh was standing next to a cement wall about six inches taller than him. I turned my head for about 30 seconds and looked back to discover that he had scaled it.

Breakfast of champions

Here's what Josh had for breakfast this morning...
He started with his usual, chicken nuggets with ketchup, choosing SunnyD for his drink.
After finishing those off he went to the fridge to show me his choice for a second course: fresh blueberries, which he dipped in his remaining ketchup.
After blueberries he wanted grapes.
Then when he saw me peeling a hard boiled egg, he requested one of those too. He also insisted on some Ranch dressing to dip his egg into.
He ate all this while slowly removing his clothing... first his pj top b/c it got something on it, and then his diaper b/c he tee teed a little in it. So, for the latter part of the meal he was standing in his chair eating his food completely naked. He also threw in some burps which are so impressive it's hard for me not to laugh.

Somehow I don't think the Chinese officials had this in mind when they approved us to be his parents. Oh well! He's ours forever now!!!!!
