Today I just have comments.... much easier than questions!
1) A few days ago Russ had gone in to wipe Han (she is starting to wipe herself some, so don't worry about finding her a husband who will). Anyway, Russ had just wiped her and she looked up at him and said, "Thanks, Dad. I shuh love you. When I have a son, I'm gonna name him Wusty!"
2) Today she was working away on one of her many art projects. She looked up at me and said, "Mom, I shuh wish Adam and Eve hadn't eaten from that twee. Then I could have seen Dad's mom." (She was talking about Russ' mom, Sharon who died before we were married.)

Questions from Han this week....
I saw this one coming.... The other day I was reading the kids' AWANA lesson to them and it was telling the story of Adam and Eve. God had told them that if they ate the fruit from the tree they would die. Well, first thing out of Han's mouth after Wednesday's AWANA Cubbies was
"Mom, did Adam and Eve die?"
Yes, they died when they were really old.
"But did they die after they sinned, or after they had childwin?"
They died after they had children.
"But, God told them if they ate from the twee of knowledge of good and evil that they would suhly die. And they ate, and didn't die."
Explain that one to a 4-year-old. And for the record, Hud was equally as confused and needing an answer.
Question #2)
"Mom, if God's alive why doesn't he just show himself to me?"
I told her my answer and ended saying that one day when we go to heaven we'll get to see him as much as we want to.
Then she said something about it being a long time from now, "but it won't be long for God, because what seems like a long time to us isn't very long for God, huh Mom."
How did she know that?
#3)
"Mom, can Jesus be in every body's hearts?"
Yes, if they ask him in.
"But how does he do that? That's so many people."

Friday's Questions by Han....
Here's the questions Han had while we were in the van. These occurred in the stretch of about a mile.
1) "Mom, what if there were no stoplights?"
Then there would be stop signs.
"But what if there were not stop signs?"
Then there would be a lot of cars crashing.
2) "Mom if a car crashes into you do you always die?"
3) "Mom did Abel (whom she just learned was the first person to die.... see previous questions by Han) have Jesus in his heart?"
4) "Mom, who was the first person to ever have a ponytail?"
5) "Mom is Sonic closed?"
No, it's open.
"No, I mean does it close at night?"
Yes, it does.
"But Wal-Mart doesn't. Why doesn't Wal-Mart close at night?"
So that some people can shop at night.
"But shouldn't they be sleeping?"
Hud isn't my question asker. He's usually my fact provider. Like tonight he informed me that "ants can kill a whole, whole, whole snake if they work together as a team!"
"Cool," I said.
Han followed this with a question (surprised?). "Can red ants do that?"

Today's Questions by Han...
Well, here are 2 of the 200. I can't remember the rest.
1) "Mom, does your skin keep you warm?"
2) "Mom, who was the first person to use paper?" I told her I didn't know, but that I thought that paper had been invented in Egypt. "What's 'invented' mean?" " Which way is Egypt?"

Hud: "Mom, can I have a chest game for my birthday??? (he meant Chess game)
Han: "Dad, you're the best daddy in the whole wide world that I ever had even if you are allergic to cats!!"

Questions from Han
O.K., I've decided to start a regular column here called "Questions from Han." I get so many questions from her everyday and some are not so easy to answer. So, I'm calling on all of you faithful readers to help me answer some of them. Feel free to leave your answers in the comments!!!!
Here are a few recent inquiries from my little Miss:
1) "Mom, how do skinny clowns keep those big, red things on their noses?"
2) "Mom, when I get mawied, can I still see my bwothuhs?" "What about my pawents?"
3) She still refuses to wipe her own bottom when she goes "poo poo." I had told her the other day that she's going to have to learn soon. I said, "What are you going to do when you grow up and I'm not there to wipe you?" She looked at me and said, "Well I guess I'll have to have my husband wipe me." A few days later she asked me, "Mom, what will I do if my husband doesn't wipe his bottom either?" (Rusty said, "Well, I think that should probably be a prerequisite.")
4) "Mom, who was the fuhst puhson to discovuh that it was unsafe to not wear a seat belt, the FUHST puhson!?"
5) "Mom, who was the fuhst puhson to die?"
6) And here's the "Doosie of the Day." (I'll take theology for $1,000 please, Alex) "Mom, why doesn't God just put the devil in jail until he luhns his lesson?"
HELP!!!!!
