My Little Sweetheart

My sweet, oldest boy, Hud has such a precious heart. I love how it comes out daily, somehow managing to show through all the rough, tough, competitive attributes that are there too.
Yesterday I was helping him with his homework. He was supposed to write a letter. I said, "Who do you want to write to? Grandpa?" "How 'bout Mr. J (his teacher)?" he said. He wrote the letter and we were at the closing. I said, "You could say, 'Your friend, Hudson,' or 'Your student, Hudson,'" He said, "Why not just, 'Love, Hudson?'" Perfect!
